I was walking home from school one afternoon when I saw a car speeding down the street. It was going way too fast, and I knew something bad was going to happen. Sure enough, the car lost control and slammed into a parked car. The impact was so loud that it made me jump. I ran over to the scene of the accident, my heart pounding in my chest. The driver of the speeding car was slumped over the steering wheel, unconscious. I immediately called 911 and told them what had happened. While I was waiting for the ambulance to arrive, I saw a group of people gathering around the scene. One of them was a young woman who was crying hysterically. She was the driver of the parked car, and she had been sitting in her car when the accident happened. I tried to comfort her, but she was too distraught to listen. I felt helpless, but I knew that I had done everything I could to help. The ambulance arrived a few minutes later, and the paramedics rushed to the driver's aid. I watched as they loaded him into the ambulance and drove away. I felt a sense of relief that he was going to be okay, but I also felt a sense of sadness for the young woman who had been involved in the accident.
