Cahaya's Eternal Wait
Cahaya stood outside the post office, his eyes fixed on the entrance. The autumn breeze gently rustled the leaves, creating a serene atmosphere. It had been years since his grandfather's passing, yet Cahaya couldn't help but wait for him to appear, just like they used to do every autumn. As the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, Cahaya's determination to wait outside the post office never wavered. His friends, BoBoiBoy and his gang, tried to convince him to move on, but Cahaya couldn't let go of the hope that his grandfather would miraculously return. Every day, Cahaya would bring a book and sit on the bench outside the post office, reading his grandfather's favorite stories. He would imagine his grandfather sitting beside him, sharing his wisdom and laughter. The people passing by would often give him sympathetic looks, but Cahaya paid no attention. He was lost in his own world, a world where his grandfather was still alive. As the years went by, Cahaya's determination became a legend in their small town. People admired his unwavering faith and dedication. They would bring him food and blankets, trying to ease his suffering. But Cahaya refused their help. He believed that his grandfather would come back, and he wanted to be there when it happened. One autumn day, as the leaves turned golden and the air grew colder, Cahaya felt a presence beside him. He looked up, expecting to see his grandfather's familiar face. But instead, he saw a young girl, her eyes filled with curiosity. "Are you waiting for someone?" she asked, her voice soft and gentle. Cahaya nodded, a tear escaping his eye. "I'm waiting for my grandfather. He used to come here every autumn." The girl smiled, her eyes sparkling with understanding. "I used to wait for my grandmother too. But then I realized that she will always be with me, in my heart." Cahaya looked at the girl, her words sinking in. Maybe it was time to let go, to cherish the memories he had with his grandfather instead of waiting for a miracle. He thanked the girl for her wisdom and bid her farewell. As Cahaya walked away from the post office, he felt a sense of peace wash over him. He knew that his grandfather would always be with him, guiding him through life's ups and downs. And as he looked back one last time, he whispered, "Thank you, Grandpa, for teaching me the true meaning of love and perseverance." And so, Cahaya's eternal wait came to an end, but his love for his grandfather would forever remain in his heart.
