As I sit in the cockpit of my Airbus A320, looking out at the sprawling landscape below, I can't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. From my early days as a cadet at Citilink Indonesia to my current role as a Captain, my journey has been filled with challenges, triumphs, and countless memories. It all began in June 2013, when I joined Citilink Indonesia as a First Officer. I was eager to learn and grow, and I quickly discovered that the world of aviation was both exhilarating and demanding. I worked tirelessly to improve my skills and knowledge, and soon found myself taking on more responsibilities within the company. In January 2016, I was promoted to the rank of Captain, a title that I wear with great honor. As a Captain, I am responsible for leading my crew and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft. It is a role that requires not only technical expertise but also strong leadership and communication skills. One of the most significant milestones in my journey was passing the IELP test, also known as the ICAO English Language Proficiency test. This test is required for all pilots working in international aviation, and it assess ability to communicate effectively in English. I took the test at the Garuda Indonesia Training Center in August 2024, and I am proud to say that I passed with flying colors. Throughout my career, I have faced many challenges and setbacks, but I have always remained optimistic and positive. I believe that with hard work, determination, and a never-ending thirst for knowledge, anything is possible. My journey has not been easy, but it has been worth it, and I am grateful for every moment I have spent in the skies. As I look back on my journey, I am filled with a sense of awe and gratitude. From my humble beginnings as a cadet to my current role as a Captain, I have come a long way. And as I continue to soar through the skies, I know that there are even greater challenges and opportunities waiting for me in the years to come.
