Subjek adalah nama orang, benda, tempat dan kata ganti mereka (pronoun).
Contoh: Juliana, kantor (office), mereka (they), dia (she, he, it), dan lain lain.
Verb(-ing) adalah kata kerja yang dapat imbuhan -ing di belakangnya.
Contoh: mixing (mengaduk), working (bekerja), walking (berjalan), sleeping (tidur), dan lain lain. Verb(-ing) selalu membutuhkan to be (is, am, are).
is untuk subjek tunggal.
am untuk subjek i (saya).
are untuk subjek jamak/ lebih dari satu.
